What I Do

Most companies have data, dashboards, and good people. What they often lack is the connective tissue that lets new technologies actually compound: clear definitions, clean inputs, mapped relationships, well-defined metrics, and the team and process to maintain them.

I work on closing that gap. The deliverable is rarely a deck. It's usually a foundation that lets your existing work move faster and your next initiatives stop stalling.

How It Works

I start by understanding what decisions your business needs to make and work backward to what your data and product systems need to support. No 90-slide audit deck. No six-month roadmap that's obsolete by month two.

Background

I'm currently Head of Data at Headway, where we're working to make mental healthcare affordable for everyone. Before that I spent time in venture capital, on Wall Street through the 2008 crisis, and in Silicon Valley during Google and Facebook's rise. I've built and led teams at large platforms, advised growth-stage companies across sectors, and shipped systems that ran on real money in real time.

If you want a sense of how I think about this stuff, the essays Where the Value Will Be and An Analytics Renaissance is Coming are good starting points.
